CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A couple in California is dealing with their grief in a heartbreaking way by celebrating the life of their stillborn daughter, Monroe.

The idea came to light when Emily visited her doctor after no longer feeling the baby inside of her moving. She was told Monroe had passed away.

However, when Emily gave birth to Monroe, photographer Lindsey Natzic-Villatoro of Love Song Events and Photography was present for nine hours to take pictures of the couple with their daughter. Relatives also came to be a part of the beautiful and emotional moment.

Emily and Richard Staley said they wanted to show off their beautiful daughter, as well as have a way to remember her as a member of their family, according to the Daily Mail.

The family shared their photos and experience on Facebook at Love Song Events & Photography and encouraged other to share the photos online.
