SEPTA Employee Struck By Train

 SEPTA says an employee was struck by a train in the tunnel near the 22nd and Market Street station around 5 p.m. on Monday.

According to SEPTA, the male employee was struck while he was working on the SEPTA trolley tunnel project. He has been transported to Hahnemann University Hospital. No word on his condition.

Train service has resumed on the westbound portion of the Market-Frankford Line. Shuttle busing continues eastbound between 5th and 40th Street. Passengers should expect delays.
