NJ Bacon Fest Offers Crazy, Tasty Treats!

Jersey City's Zeppelin Hall is home to this year's bacon fest taking place at the Biergarten through August 24th.

Over 2000 people are expected to make their way to the festival to try some of the craziest and tastiest bacon creations ever made. On the menu hungry patrons can enjoy things like: the bacon lobster taco thermador, the bacon word tour monster sandwich, 50 shades of bacon BLT, bacon sausage trio, bacon osso bucco, bacon encrusted pork rib-eye steak and the bacon bacon burger.

But that's not all! Bacon is also on the menu for dessert too so head out and try some bacon cotton candy!

    Monmouth County Prosecutors say that an EMT responding to an emergency call in Howell, New Jersey helped the victim and then helped herself to the victim's credit card. It's alleged that Lori Wegner of Toms River, New Jersey even tried using the card later in the day. The ambulance service she worked for MONOC says she's since been fired.

A new law in Sayreville, New Jersey will now limit the sale of cigarettes only to people 21 years-of-age or older. While this law was passed with the intention to help reduce the number of teenage smokers, all its really done is anger convenience store owners and drive away customers.
