LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - A JetBlue flight from Los Angeles to New York had to return to LAX on Thursday after reports that the aircraft was possibly struck by lightning, according to the airline.
Flight number 324 departed from LAX at 10:14 a.m. headed for JFK when it was reportedly struck around 10:45 a.m. Thursday.
One hundred fifty-three passengers were onboard at the time. No one was injured.
The pilot was able to land the plane safely around 11:15 a.m.
Fox 11 reached out to JetBlue, they released the following statement:
Passengers were able to safely deplane the aircraft by 11:45 a.m.
