Autism Acceptance Month - The Uncommon Thread
Early diagnosis and intervention! It is critical when it comes to a entire range of health issues! But for children across new jersey who could wait up to a year for an autism diagnosis, that amount of time could have a major impact on the child’s long-term development. Now, a nonprofit has created a 30-day model leveraging new technology to help families access answers through early identification and evaluations for children as young as 16 months. Greg Carr, Founder and Executive Director of The Uncommon Thread, talks about the organization’s efforts.
