High-end hijabs

Designer fashion label Dolce & Gabanna has come out with a line of traditional Muslim hijabs.

The italian Luxury brand D&G calls the line of Hijabs The Abaya Collection: The Allure of The Middle East. The Hijab has been a controversial garment seen by some as opressive and misogynistic and coincidentally so has the D&G fashion brand.

Some Muslims look at D&G's new release as exploiting something that is tradition and reducing it to a trend. Others see it as an opportunity to show their versatility while also showing their political and social alliance.
