Trend: Cannabis spiked cocktails

Mixologist Warren Bobrow would like you to know about the next hot new trend in cocktail ingredients: cannabis.

That's right, weed-spiked alcohol. He has a new book that will be released on June 1st titled: "Cannabis Cocktails, Mocktails and Tonics."

"It's not a stoner book," Bobrow says.  "It's a book based on sound healing methods."

But the sub title on the book reads "The art of spirited drinks & buzz-worthy libations".

It contains a collection of 75 recipes.  He says they are the essential instructions for de-carbing cannabis to release its full psychoactive effect.

Public consumption of cannabis cocktails is not legal anywhere in the United States -- even in the states where recreational marijuana is legal.

"I am not a doctor.  I can't tell you what will make you feel better.  I can tell you what might possibly eleviate some of your symptoms," Bobrow says.

Bobrow has a popular blog called cocktailwhisperer.com and has written several cocktail books and teaches classes on spirits and cocktails.
