Woman creates new life after arranged marriage

Penina Reich was born into the Hasidic Jewish community in New York.  At 18, she entered into an arranged marriage with the son of a rabbi, a man who, on paper, and in the eyes of her family and community was the perfect match.

But Penina was unhappy and she wanted out of the marriage. Eventually she received a divorce, left the Hasidic community and now she goes by the name Pearl Perri. She uses thematic nude art and her fashion company to speak out about her strict religious upbringing.
