5 minor injuries in Brooklyn house fire

NEW YORK (AP) — Authorities say a house fire in Brooklyn that burned for over two hours has been brought under control.

They say five occupants of the house sustained injuries that were believed to be minor.

The blaze broke out at 4:42 a.m. Thursday at the private dwelling on Glenwood Road. It was extinguished by 7 a.m.

It was not immediately clear where the fire started.

The cause is under investigation.
