Amazon to open 3 more fulfillment centers in New Jersey

Amazon plans to open three new fulfillment centers in New Jersey, creating 2,500 new, full-time jobs, the company announced.

The centers will be located in Cranbury Township, Edison, and Logan Township, the company said. Amazon has seven facilities in the state already, with more than 13,000 full-time workers.

The fulfillment centers in Cranbury Township and Logan Township will ship larger items, such as music equipment, sports gear, and patio furniture, Amazon said. The facility in Edison will handle smaller orders, such as books, toys, and kitchenware.
