Billionaire Bush donor begins personal anti-Trump campaign

A billionaire who is backing former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is running a personal campaign against fellow billionaire Donald Trump, calling the GOP presidential candidate an insecure, narcissistic bully that needs to be stopped.

Mike Fernandez is a Cuban-born major Republican donor from Miami who built his fortune in the health care industry. He has bought full-page newspaper ads blasting Trump and a pro-Latino television ad designed to counter Trump's anti-immigration message. He's also launching a website this week to be called "Stop The Bullyionaire."

Fernandez donated $3 million to Bush's Right to Rise super PAC, making him its largest individual contributor. His campaign comes as a super PAC backing Ohio Gov. John Kasich and the conservative group Club for Growth also are producing anti-Trump videos.
