Brutal subway beating caught on video

Police in New York are looking for a man who was caught on video brutally beating another man inside the Times Square subway station.

The NYPD say the attack happened on Tuesday February 27 at about 6:22 p.m.  The suspect approached the 22-year-old male victim from behind and punched him several times in the face and body. The attacker knocked the victim to the ground and also kicked him in one final assault.

The victim was treated at the scene by EMS for bruising and swelling to his face as well as two chipped teeth.  It was unclear what happened in the moments before the attack.

Police released video of the attack and described the man they are looking for as Hispanic, in his 30s, 6'0" and 240 lbs.  He was wearing a gray overcoat, a white shirt with a dark colored striped tie, dark colored pants and black shoes at the time of the attack.
