#ChaseMyJob - Plastic Surgeon

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a plastic surgeon? You may think it's all knives and sutures, but think again!

Chasing News checked out Davis Cosmetic Plastic Surgery in Cherry Hill to learn the ins and outs of non-invasive surgeries like freezing off fat and radio frequency facials.

Dr. Stephen Davis’ patients call him a miracle worker, even, their fairytale ending, and for Hope Sedgewick, her fairytale didn’t involve any knives or downtime.

Sedgewick says cool-sculpting was the right choice for her, "I’m a big fan of non-surgical. I have two children, a very busy life."

Coolsculpting is the only FDA-cleared, non-surgical fat reduction treatment. Doctors say it freezes the fat cells without damaging skin.

The vacuum-like machine sucks in the tummy fat and then uses controlled cooling for about an hour to freeze off the fat. After about an hour, the machine is removed and doctors massage the fat cells.

You can actually feel them crunch beneath your fingertips. This is to help reduce swelling and assist the body in eliminating the fat cells.

Dr. Davis says like any procedure, it needs to be a lifestyle change to see results. This means taking care of yourself and exercising.

One of the many perks of being a plastic surgeon?

You get access to groundbreaking treatments, including Dr. Davis’ laser skin spa. This award season FORMA was all the rage.

Forma is a radio frequency facial that stimulates new collagen and optimal skin contraction. It immediately tightens and smooths your skin.

Dr. Davis also says it helps to improve acne and skin tone. You do experience some redness, but it subsides quickly

Dr. Davis has two locations in New Jersey and one in Philadelphia. If you want to check out all the treatments Dr. Davis offers you can head over www.daviscps.com.
