Community rallies together to help family recover from New Year's Day fire

The Roselle Park community has rallied together to help a family who lost everything in the early morning fire on New Year's Day.

The Roselle Park Fire Department answered an alarm early New Year's morning at the home of the Mosquera family at 45 East Webster Ave. Flames could be seen coming from the roof and heavy smoke filled the area surrounding the residence. The fire appeared to be contained to the second level of the home but the family lost everything. According to police at the scene, no one was injured.

Residents quickly rallied and are asking for everyone to help the family.
