Fierce winds nearly tips semi-truck over on New York bridge
NYACK, N.Y. (FOX 13) - A tractor trailer nearly tipped over on a New York bridge as strong winds blew through from Friday’s Nor’Easter.
In video, the semi-truck is seen teetering from the intense winds. The truck was going over the Governor Mario Cuomo Bridge, also known as the Tappan Zee Bridge.
At least two trucks overturned on the same bridge during the storm.
Authorities later decided to ban truck and bus traffic on the bridge due to the high winds.
