Geraldo Rivera's compound for sale
Reporter, talk show host, author, and attorney, Geraldo Rivera, is selling his Edgewater home.
When Chaser Jillian Jablonski heard the news, she gave Rivera a call.
When she got there, there was only one way to start the tour: seeing Geraldo's house from Geraldo's boat.
They hopped on the boat named Belle and headed into the Hudson where they had a perfect view of the city skyline.
Geraldo explained the concept of the house, and it goes right back to the boat theme
"I wanted it to be like a ship on land."
There is a deck on every level that has a perfect view of the water and even the inside was designed to be like the inside of a ship -- dark wood, curved lines that look like waves and stainless steel accents, multiple spiral staircases throughout all the homes
All the homes? Yes -- it's not just one house for sale, it's four:
The main house, Geraldo's main living quarters: $2.95 million
The "dirty boys' house": $700,000
The guest house with a big garage: $850,000
The pool house $1.5 million
Geraldo said he will sell one or all of the homes. He'd like to eventually retire to Florida, but he still owns an apartment in Manhattan and he's not going anywhere just yet.
