Man holds onto car on 105 Freeway

Vektor Hernandex is a regular commuter from the San Gabriel Valley to El Segundo.  When he was almost at work Friday morning, he noticed a man was on the 105 Freeway, apparently trying to carjack someone in traffic.

Vektor couldn't believe it.

Cars were whizzing by, while a man was seen grabbing at door handles. He got ahold of one, and didn't let go. What did Vektor do when he say this? He took out his cell phone and began recording, posted it on social media, and called FOX 11.

Vektor said, "It was insane. He was holding on as cars were going 60. He was banging on the windows. He climbed up on the roof."

His video lasted about 45 seconds. It's amazing no one was hurt or killed.

The man driving the car eventually slowed down and pulled off,  Vektor went on to work, seeing that others were already on their phones presumably calling the authorities, and after numerous 9-1-1 calls the CHP and the Fire Department were on scene quickly.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence and hospitalized for a mental health check.

Vektor still can't stop talking about what he saw, and the video is really amazing.  FOX 11 is still trying to track down the driver.
