Man shot to death in Hartford's North End

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — An early morning shooing in Hartford has left a 38-year-old man dead.

Police say they responded to a home on Pliny Street at about 3 a.m. Wednesday after the city's ShotSpotter system detected multiple gunshots in the area.

Police say the victim was found with gunshot wounds to his torso and legs. He was transported to Saint Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The man's name has not been released, and no arrests have been made.
