30 years ago, businessman Russell Berrie had a vision to celebrate and invest in the unsung heroes of the Garden State who have made a real impact. The result was the Making A Difference Award. This past May marked the final year of this iconic ceremony that recognized 30 changemakers, including a new generation of Gen Z leaders. Gen Z honorees Aidan Barth - Co-Founder and Chairman of the Linc Program Inc; Rashanna James-Frison – an Alumna of Girls, Live, Love, Laugh Inc; Alias Ragsdale – the youngest member ever elected to the Clifton Board of education; and Idana Goldberg - CEO of the Russell Berrie Foundation talk about how the legacy of the Making A Difference Award will live on.
