Pasco firefighters help raccoon with head stuck in can

A nocturnal animal was found stuck in a comprising situation during the daylight hours.

On Tuesday morning, firefighters with the Pasco County Fire Rescue found a raccoon behind their New Port Richey station, with its head stuck inside a tin can.

Firefighters managed to capture the raccoon, and within a few minutes, they cut through the can, safely pulling its head out. The “little guy” returned to the wild soon after.
