Police: Forsyth Co. man arrested for child trafficking

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office says that they have arrested a 31-year-old man for trafficking a runaway teenager in sexual servitude.

Deputies went to an address in northeast Forsyth County after receiving a call about a juvenile there. When investigating, police say "it became apparent" that a 16-year-old girl was being victimized due to her involvement in prostitution.

Police then arrested 31-year-old Matthew Humphries from Cumming, Ga. He currently is in custody at the Forsyth County Jail charged with trafficking in sexual servitude, interference with child custody and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The teenager victim, who police say was a runaway from DeKalb County, has been turned over to the Department of Family and Children Services.
