Oakwood Police are taking terroristic threats seriously, and are asking for help finding a customer who investigators said threatened to blow up a store after questioning him about his religion.

Police tell FOX 5, the bizarre encounter happened the night of April 7 at the Valero off McEver and Stephens Roads, when the victim became irate over getting carded for buying alcohol.

"He asked me whether I was a Muslim. I said, 'Does it matter? I'm a human being'," said Ken Amin exclusively to FOX 5, who said a customer became irate after he tried to buy a can of beer and Amin asked to see his ID first. Amin said he had never seen the customer before.

Police said the suspect told Amin to convert, then told the victim he was going to die anyway.

"He said, 'I'll blow the store,'" Amin tells FOX 5.

Officers said he left in a dark-color Chrysler Aspen.

Amin said he's owned the store for 12 years, and has always been surrounded by friendly and loyal customers in the tight-knit community.

Customers said they were livid after hearing the popular store and beloved owner was threatened.

"I don't know why somebody would do that to him," one customer said.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call the Oakwood Police Department or Crime Stoppers. There is a reward up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.
