Police: Teens vandalized homes of alleged victims of sexual battery

Police in Peachtree City said they have arrested six teenagers for vandalizing the home of two reported victims in a recent sexual battery case involving a high school coach.

Peachtree City Police said the five McIntosh High School students, all 18, and another 18-year-old have all been charged with two counts each of second-degree criminal damage and intimidating a witness. All six turned themselves into the Fayette County Jail the evening of May 15.

Bradley A. Ector, Ethan H. Ange, Ahmad D. Ragland, Kaemon M. Gooden, and Tyson J. Wright, of Peachtree City, and Ashton Blackmon, Newnan, were named by police.

Police said the May 13 vandalism was in retaliation for the couple students coming forward last month, telling authorities baseball coach David Munoz inappropriately touched them.

The 43-year-old coach was arrested April 24 on one count of sexual battery. Police added three more counts last week. Investigators do not allege it was for sexual gratification.

Munoz has since bonded out as the investigation continues.
