Teen with down syndrome makes backwards trick shot

WEST POINT, Ne. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A special Olympics athlete from Nebraska is getting a lot of attention after making a trick shot that you would think only a pro could sink.

18-year-old James Meiergerd got the attention of the Harlem Globetrotters after nailing a backwards trick shot in front of his entire school.

Then on January 29th, one of the Harlem Globetrotters showed up in Nebraska to surprise Meiergerd and do the shot again -- but together!
