Temple city employee charged with rape, exploitation

TEMPLE, Ga. - A Temple city employee was charged with rape and exploitation of a disabled adult.

Jason Thompson was accused of forcing sexual contact with a female family member.

Investigators said the victim suffers from a mild form of retardation.

Thompson was employed with the city's water department as a meter reader and water technician.

He booked into the Carroll County Jail.
