Three children were found living alone in squalor in a Pontiac, Michigan home after their mother allegedly abandoned them years ago. "Throughout my extensive career in this field, I have never encountered a scenario as dire and prolonged as this one involving abandonment, neglect, and abuse of the highest order," said Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard.

Delta Toronto plane crash update

A Delta Air Lines jet flipped on its roof while attempting to land at Toronto?s Pearson Airport, all 80 people on board survived. The airport chief executive said passengers suffered minor injuries. The flight from Minneapolis carrying 76 passengers and four crew members attempted to land around 2:15 p.m. ?We are very grateful there was no loss of life and relatively minor injuries,? Deborah Flint, CEO of Greater Toronto Airports Authority said. Toronto Pearson Fire Chief Todd Aitken said 18 passengers were transported to the hospital. Toronto Pearson Airport President Flint said the FAA is helping Canadian officials in the Delta flight investigation. Officials say two passengers remain hospitalized at this time.
