Meteorologist Mike Woods says we are off to a very mild, muggy, but dry start to the day. The heat and humidity will build up to the point where we have heat advisories for some areas. Our high today will reach 90 degreees, but it will feel more like the mid and even upper 90s.

Meteorologist Audrey Puente says temperatures will be heating up today to the mid to upper 80s for highs this afternoon. We will also see some storms later this afternoon, especially in the inland areas. Showers will settle back down this evening and into tonight. Lows will drop into the lower 70s.
