'Twilight' author to speak at New York Comic Con
NEW YORK (AP) — Ten years after the debut of her million-selling "Twilight" novels, Stephenie Meyer is planning to talk about them at next month's New York Comic Con.
Little, Brown Books for Young Readers announced Monday that Meyer will be interviewed Oct. 8 at Comic Con by MTV's Josh Horowitz. Two days before, Little, Brown will reissue "Twilight," the first of her vampire stories. In a statement issued through the publisher, Meyer thanked her fans' "incredible passion and dedication."
The "Twilight" series, which also includes "New Moon," ''Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn," became a worldwide phenomenon and was adapted into a series of blockbuster movies starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
