Clermont police officer in ICU after being severely burned in accident

It was an outpouring of emotion and love on Wednesday afternoon for Clermont Police Office Kris Kruse. Kruse, 21, suffered burns to 60 percent of his body after an accident Sunday night, and his family is pleading with the public to send prayers his way.

Guardian Angels in subway

It's been 20 years since the Guardian Angels patrolled the NYC subways but after a rash of subway slashing attacks, they are resuming nightly patrols. Curtis Sliwa, the founder of the Guardian Angels, an unarmed violence prevention organization, said the "slashings have paralyzed the people with fear."

Royal Caribbean cruise ship caught in storm

There are reports that waves reached over 30 feet.  The "Anthem of the Seas" left New Jersey Saturday before getting caught in category 2 hurricane force winds.
